FIELDSTAR for Harvesting

Overview:
The FIELDSTAR terminal, when connected to DGPS with the yield monitoring system, is able to record important information about yield variations within a field. This data can then be further processed using simple software to generate yield maps.

The FIELDSTAR terminal can be quickly removed from combines and transferred to other equipment.

Yield mapping provides users with an enormous amount of historical data about field performance that builds up over the years. This information indicates the true variability in a field and can be used to highlight areas that require further investigation, which leads to forming the basis for variable treatment plans. Yield maps also provide the essential data required to check the effectiveness of various treatments.

Markers or ‘flags’ can be used to record the position of objects or features in a field, such as weeds, soil sample site or telegraph poles and footpaths.

Transferable between equipment
FIELDSTAR and DGPS system components can be transferred between vehicles such as tractors and combines.
